Mingus on his motivation behind the song and its imagery:
“People have this perfect image in their minds of what love should be and how who they fall in love with should look and act. I wanted to expound on that with “Ju$t The One For Me.” The music is big and edgy with ebbs and flows - a lot like how falling in love is…With the video, I wanted to add in some real women, and not just your regular “models”, to show how perfect imperfection can be.
I worked really diligently on creating this song and making sure the video complimented the meaning and emotion of the music. I hope people enjoy their first look into my artistry.”
