Or how Toronto Star ‘writer’, Antonia Zerbisias (above) managed to conflate two unrelated issues, take twenty year old rap lyrcis out of context and mistake a reggae singer for a hip-hop artist. Like you said at the beginning of your piece, “It’s still not clear exactly what happened at the Danzig St. mass shooting.”
Ms. Zerbisias, you should be ashamed of yourself for writing this absolutely outrageous, ridiculously and ultimately, purely speculative article. This is one of the more reprehensible and irresponsible attempts at opinion journalism I have seen in recent memory….

Airing Sunday August 12 on Inside The Music at 3PM (EST) on CBC Radio 2 and 9PM on CBC Radio 1, it wil feature interviews with George Clinton, Bernie Worrell, Frank Kash Waddy, Cordell Boogie Mosson, Chris Tannis, Prakash John and Rob Bowman.

All is welcome to come and show support to the friends and families of Shyanne and Joshua, to show community solidarity and to STOP THE VIOLENCE! I was a pretty big fan of Zaki’s Eclectica (Episodes In Purple) album and, I know it’s sacrilege but no joke, the comparisons to Sade in terms of her vocal tone are not unwarranted. This new album is a little different from that one but it’s worth a listen. Check it out and tell me if you agree.
